Rick Ellison started KC Dents & Trim over 20 years ago with the mission of providing the most honest and professional PDR service available.

Before he start KC Dents he was a self taught PDR technician.  He learned PDR the hard way. Lots and lots of practice and "trial and error".  When he had perfected his skills he spint a short stint working for another local company. After awhile he came to realize that he did not see eye to eye with their business practices.  He decided it was better to go it on his own.

At that time PDR was just starting to catch hold and was still limited to the body shops and car dealers.  It was so new that he had to build alot of the tools he used.

He soon became much in demand as his reputation as honest, fair and really good at fixing dents began to spread throughout the body shops and dealers in the area.

His reputation has remained unchanged after 20 years.

J.D. Martin (VALE Certified) has been in the PDR business since 1991.  During that time he had a local family-run PDR company in Lenexa, KS.  He and his company provided training and tools all over the world.  He also employed several local technicians and serviced both retail, and wholesale customers.  In 2006, he decided to simplify life and closed his business.  This offered him the opportunity to team up with Rick and KC Dents after having known him for many years and respected his work.
